Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is looking for meritorious young researchers for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF – 01 Post) for the project titled “Advanced Urban Public Transportation System” funded by Science & Engineering Research Board, Department of Science & Technology vide Sanction Letter No. ECR/2017/000217 dated 23rd June 2017.

Eligibility :

• M.E./M.Tech. In Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics/ICT or other relevant discipline or equivalent qualification OR
• M.Sc. in Computer Science/Electronics or related discipline with NET qualification or equivalent qualification OR
• B.E. / B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics/ICT or other relevant discipline with NET qualification

Desired Skills:

• Work/Project development experience using Micro controllers (e.g. Adriano or Raspberry-pi) is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Mobile and Web application development is expected

Duration: One year, (May be extended to 2ndand 3rdyear based on the performance)

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- + (HRA will be granted after approval from SERB, DST)

PDPU is seeking a Director for its School of Technology, who being its academic as well as its administrative head, is expected to have proven administrative, teaching and research (including significant experience in research guidance at the PhD level.) with the leadership qualities to head the School to fulfill its stated vision and mission.

The candidate should have Doctoral Degree in Engg./ Technology with at-least 7 to 10 years experience as Professor from a National Engineering Institute / University of Repute from abroad OR he/she should be associated for long as senior research scientist / senior technologist with significant record of contribution. Previous administrative experience at a senior level in an academic institute shall be given due importance.

The candidate should be preferably in the age group of 40- 50 years. The emoluments will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

Centre of Excellence for Geothermal Energy, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is looking for a young & dynamic candidate for the post of Research Associate.

The candidate should be in the age group of 23-30 years. The incumbent will perform desktop and field research (field situated 250 kms from Ahmadabad) in the area of geothermal energy. Remuneration to the candidate will be provided according to industry standard.

The contract period for this appointment is initially for two years, extendable by two more years on mutually agreeable terms and conditions or co-terminates with the end of the project.
